Providing Voluntary Information. When you choose to register as either a Buyer or a Seller on WorkPilot, you will provide certain information as part of the registration process. Among the information currently collected for registration is:
- your name
- your address
- your telephone number
- a user name and a password
- a description of your project
If you are a Seller, we will also ask you to upload your resume or work history, and your profile. You may also be asked to answer a survey of questions designed to gauge your experience and skills, including the ability to supply examples of your work. Other than the information you supply to buyers and sellers as part of the bidding and profile process, none of the foregoing information will be provided to any third parties and we will use our best efforts to protect the privacy of your information.
Other than the voluntary registration and project, or resume, information you provide that is to be displayed to other Buyers or Sellers, WorkPilot does not store any of your personal information on its servers.
Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, WorkPilot cannot ensure or warranty the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk.
Safety & Security. WorkPilot does not collect or store any of your credit card information. Any such information is collected by secure third party services available when payment is made that employ SSL encryption to protect your information. For more details on the payment procedure, please review the Terms of Use you agreed to when you registered on this site. Although third party payment providers employ SSL encryption and maintain a high level of security, the information practices of those Web sites are not covered by this Privacy Policy and those Web sites may collect individually identifiable information.
Disclosure of Information. Other than linking to third party payment providers for payment by Buyers, individually identifiable information provided to WorkPilot at this site is not disclosed to third parties except with your permission or under special circumstances (such as when we believe in good faith that the law requires it). WorkPilot may preserve or disclose information to any third party if required to do so by law or in a good faith belief that such preservation or disclosure is necessary to comply with legal process; to enforce the Terms of Use or this Privacy Policy; to respond to claims that the information violates the rights of third parties; or to protect the rights, property, or personal safety of WorkPilot or the public. WorkPilot does not sell or rent user information to anyone.
