Registration Process
You can browse the marketplace and see a shortened version of listed projects and provider qualifications. However, to post a project, list your qualifications, or bid on a project, you must register as either a buyer (to buy services) or as a service provider (to sell your services). There is a 'subscription' fee to sell services. To register, click on “Register” at the bottom of any page.
You will not have full access to view complete project bids, or bid on a project, until you become a Registered User. This will then give you access to your 'personal control panel' for building your profile, tracking projects, customizing your preferences, and posting of projects or bidding on projects.
Registered buyers can post unlimited projects for bidding each month. Just login and then click on "Create a Project".
Registered Providers can bid on unlimited projects each month.
Registration information, such as your default email address can be changed from the Member's Area page.
When you post a project . . .
You describe the services you need and service providers bid to do the work. You then choose the bid you want, and the project begins. So the steps are: Post a project, receive bids, choose the winning bidder, communicate with the provider, approve final project, and send final payment.
Buyer and Seller Profiles
Buyers and Sellers need to register by completing a User registration form. This will be used to give service providers basic background information. You can set up a User profile from the Member's Area page; click the Info tab.
What is a Quality Market Rating?
The QM Rating is a composite history of how a service provider or buyer has been evaluated by others. Overall rating statistics will be shown for buyers and service providers. Service providers and buyers are rated on a 1-10 scale: 10 being excellent and 1 being not acceptable.
What are my obligations once I post a project?
You have no obligation to choose a service provider for any project you post and there are no charges even after you choose a service provider. When you do choose a service provider, you should reach an agreement regarding payment and project requirements. If the service provider delivers the work, you must pay the service provider according to the agreement but only when the service provider sends an Invoice through WorkPilot.
How do I cancel my account?
To cancel your account, please send the information below to us via email at support@workpilot.com
Cancellation goes into effect at the end of your current billing cycle. No partial refunds can or will be given. There is no cancellation fee.
Please include your full name, your username, phone number and address. Please detail the nature of your request and what account(s) you wish to cancel. More information is available on our "Terms" page.
Before I can bid on a project or post a project, what must I do?
To bid on or post a project, you must be a registered User by completing a user profile, agreeing to the WorkPilot terms and conditions, and Providers paying the subscription fee.
What are the Transaction Fees for Sellers/Providers?
The Transaction Fee is based on a percentage of the total project amount. The fee is 4.0% of the accepted bid amount or $1,000 whichever is less with a minimum fee of $10 and is paid by the provider. There are no transaction fees for buyers.
